SOLAR VILLAGE TO DESIGN 8 AFFORDABLE SOLAR HOMES

Thistle Communities is a non-profit organization responsible for bringing affordable housing to the Boulder County region.  As part of this effort they have been looking for a cost effective way to build quality focused "green" homes that would still be affordable.  They chose Solar Village Homes to design the modular green homes and All American Homes to build the homes.  Solar Village was chosen because they understand how to design for modular construction and how to incorporate green features that provide the maximum amount of efficiency for the dollar spent so the homes would stay affordable.  The Boulder homes should be ready for occupancy by the summer of 2010.
